Meal planning from grocery deals with a real weekly plan & shopping list: Flyva adds matching recipes and keeps your week organized.

Search-driven answers

How Flyva helps you spend less on groceries

Meal planning from grocery deals with a real weekly plan & shopping list is what people already look for before they discover Flyva. We built the site around the same problem: planning a weekly meal plan, shopping list, and recipe mix around the offers that are actually nearby.

What are smart ways to save money on groceries?

The biggest lever is not clipping random coupons. It is planning meals around supermarket offers first, then generating recipes and one shopping list from those deals. That cuts impulse buys, food waste, and full-price ingredients in the same week.

Savings guide

Grocery shopping by recipe

When you shop by recipe, you buy ingredients with a clear purpose instead of guessing in the aisle. Flyva combines grocery shopping by recipe with local offers, so the meals you plan are also the meals that make sense for your budget.

Budget shopping list and meal planner

A useful budget shopping list and meal planner should do more than store recipes. It should connect the weekly ads of the stores you shop at, such as Kroger, ALDI or Publix, to a weekly plan, remove duplicate ingredients, and give you one clean list you can actually shop from.

Protocol

How it works

Three steps from your supermarkets to a finished weekly plan.

01

Pick your stores

Choose up to three stores, such as Kroger, ALDI or Target. For chains with regional ads you pick your own store, because each area gets its own ad.

02

Read the deals

Flyva reads your stores' current flyers and matches every deal to an ingredient.

Plan the week

From the recipe collection, Flyva picks seven dinners that fit your diet and favor ingredients on sale. The shopping list comes with it.

Frequently asked questions

Questions?

During setup you pick up to three stores. Every week Flyva reads their current weekly ads and deals and plans your week with them. Many US chains print a different ad for each region, so for those you pick your own store by ZIP code or location. The same goes for EDEKA in Germany. Chains with one national ad, such as Walmart or Lidl, do not need your location.

The app is free. Without a subscription you can pick up to three stores, use the shopping list, see the first ten recipes in the feed, save up to ten recipes and create your own recipes, including 40 imports from cooking videos. You see the weekly plan as a preview. Flyva Pro saves your weekly plan and unlocks the full recipe feed, unlimited saved recipes, voice input, shopping list cleanup, pantry mode, your own household and 50 more video imports per month.

Flyva Pro comes as a monthly and a yearly subscription. New customers can try Pro free for 7 days. Prices depend on the store and country and are shown in the app before you buy. The yearly plan is the cheapest option.

In the US Walmart, Target, Costco, ALDI, Lidl, Kroger, Publix, Safeway, H-E-B, Meijer, Wegmans and other regional chains. In Germany ALDI SÜD, ALDI Nord, Lidl, REWE, EDEKA, Netto, PENNY, Kaufland, NORMA and WASGAU, in Austria HOFER, BILLA, BILLA PLUS, SPAR, INTERSPAR, EUROSPAR, Lidl, PENNY and MPREIS, in Switzerland Migros, Coop, Lidl and ALDI SUISSE. In France E.Leclerc, Carrefour, Intermarché, Super U, Auchan, Lidl and ALDI, in Belgium Delhaize, Colruyt, Lidl and ALDI. Chains in the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Croatia, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia are covered too. You pick up to three of them. More chains are added over time. If your store is missing, you can suggest it in the app. Without a selected store, Flyva plans the week without deals.

Yes. You choose a diet (normal, vegetarian, vegan or pescatarian), optionally keto or no pork on top, and can exclude the 14 major EU allergens, such as gluten or milk. Flyva then only shows and plans recipes that fit. If you have allergies, always check the ingredients and product labels yourself.

Flyva puts together seven dinners from the recipe collection and favors dishes whose main ingredients are on sale at your stores. You can swap single evenings, drag dishes to other days, pick one yourself or mark it as cooked. The plan turns into a shopping list for the whole week, and you decide which dishes go on it. Without Pro you see the weekly plan as a preview.

In pantry mode you enter up to 20 ingredients you have at home. Flyva looks for recipes in the collection that are missing at most one ingredient and adds a few AI-generated suggestions if needed. That way you use up leftovers instead of going shopping. Pantry mode is part of Flyva Pro.

Yes. With Flyva Pro you create a household and invite up to three other people with a code. Nobody needs their own subscription to join. Everyone sees the same shopping list, the same weekly plan and the same saved recipes, and checked-off items show up for everyone instantly. Stores, diet and notifications are set by each person. Flyva plans the shared weekly plan from the settings of the person who created the household.

Yes, with Flyva Pro. Tap the microphone on the shopping list and say what you need, even several things at once, such as “two kilos of potatoes, milk and pasta”. Flyva picks out each item with its quantity and adds it to the list.

Planning your week around current deals and shopping from a fixed list helps the most. Flyva does that for you: the weekly plan favors dishes with ingredients on sale, the shopping list shows what is discounted right now, and because you shop to a plan, you throw less away. The app estimates roughly how much you save each week.

Yes, that is what Flyva is built for. The app reads the deals of your stores, such as Kroger, ALDI or Walmart, builds a weekly plan with matching recipes and creates the finished shopping list. You do not enter a fixed budget. The week gets cheaper because the plan favors dishes with ingredients on sale.

Yes. You can write recipes yourself or take them from a cooking video on YouTube, TikTok or Instagram, from a recipe website or from a link to a PDF or Mein Kochbuch file (.rcp). Without a subscription 40 video imports are included, Pro adds 50 per month. Imports from websites and files do not count. You sort your own recipes into folders and can put them on the shopping list.

German, English and French, on iPhone and Android. The app follows your phone's language, so the interface, the recipes and the notifications appear in that language.
