Prices from the Kroger ad for the Cincinnati, OH area. Kroger prints different ads by region, so in the app you pick your own store and get the ad for it.
Meal planning around the Kroger weekly ad
The Kroger weekly ad starts on Wednesday and runs through the following Tuesday. Prices are set by region, so a store in Cincinnati and a store in Atlanta can show different deals in the same week. Many of the lowest prices are tied to your Kroger Plus card, and some need a digital coupon loaded in the app first. Purchases also earn Points, which Kroger lets you spend on fuel or, at participating stores, as rewards cash. To plan, read the meat and produce pages on Wednesday and pick one sale item for every two dinners. A family pack of chicken thighs is a good anchor: roast half with potatoes on Wednesday, then shred the rest for chicken fried rice on Friday.

Frequently asked questions
- What day does the Kroger weekly ad start?
- Wednesday. New Kroger prices take effect every Wednesday and last until Tuesday night in each region we checked, from Ohio and Kentucky to Georgia, Texas and Virginia. Because prices are set regionally, choose your store on kroger.com to see the right version. Flyva also works from your ZIP code for Kroger and matches recipes to the deals at stores near you.
- Do you need a Kroger card to get sale prices?
- For many items, yes. Card prices apply when you scan your Kroger Plus card or type in the alternate ID linked to your account at the pin pad. Digital coupons only count after you load them through the Kroger app or website. Your membership also works at the other stores in the Kroger family, such as Ralphs, King Soopers and Fred Meyer.
- What is in the Kroger weekly ad for the week of Oct 19?
- Flyva reads the current Kroger ad and keeps the food items. The board at the top of this page shows this week's deals with their prices. In the app, those deals turn into a week of dinners and one shopping list.
